Willie and The Wolves!!...I was there!!

Yes Yes, you kno i'd never think that while in CEP121 we wud be goin on a field trip lol...
nah this was a different type of experience (i think for us all that attended). (Blog names) Redycedarg, streckoza, mydreamplace350z, theryz, virullah, and of course Just2passaclass were all in attendance. even 2other students from LaG came 2enjoy the show. i think everyone enjoyed themselves. it was a lot better than i expected. the band had a good sound. it was definitely a lounge type of vibe. i have to say that Willie was "goin in", he was definitely feeling the vibes. theryz & mydreamplace350z were being themselves lol Red and I had kick out of watching them. they were also enjoying hearing Willie get loose with the tongue (pause) lol.. Tony repeatedly stated "i cant believe our professor is cool, we totally have a cool professor." the nite was good, beer was good, i rate that nite an overall 7/10. special shout out 2 Redycedarg for the ride thanks again!
Prof...i mean Willie i'll definitely come to the next show..i enjoy myself and your band is good. much love and successful

"Only Champions Do This!!"

Sometimes while having fun we get over excited and we're in the moment. Things are going great, we're making the right moves and all of a sudden...your arms are up in the air and you scream "ONLY CHAMPIONS DO THIS!!!"
That's what i usually say after i win or when i know I'm bout to win. but that statement means much more to me now after i had a chat with some of my professional collages. i had to re-analyze what I've been saying. "Only Champions Do This!" it has nothing to do with actually winning. its about having that winning attitude. knowing that no matter what you face, you face it like a champion. champions sacrifice, work harder than others, have more courage and take great risks expecting to come out on top. This quote is meant to keeps me fueled to stay in the race for success. You may often hear me recite this quote to give me energy. "Only Champions Do This!!!" I'd like to inspire you. if you feel that your doubting yourself and you need a quick reminder for why your doing what your doing just recite my quote. i am sure that you'll regain your focus and you'll be ready for action.
i just wanted to share one of my most powerful quotes. i believe everyone should posses this winning attitude. the world says "only the Strong survives" Michael Jordan says "Become Legendary" both quotes are inspirational it tells you to to strive for the best. i on the other hand want you to know! that you are the best.
"Only Champions Do This!!!"

The Reason I pursue my goals in music: My Successful Person Interview
With all the work, meetings and family to attend to Darryl Brown still took the time out to have a phone interview with me. I wanted to have a video interview, spark a couple extra points from my professor. I had it planned perfect. I’d have my little brother be the cameraman, using his flip that I got him for Christmas and we would head over to Brown’s studio and do the interview that way. But Mr. Brown was busy as usual so the next best thing is to get the interview done as soon as possible so that I can have it posted to my blog on time.
During the interview I ask Brown a series of question relating to how he sees me and if he think I’d still be pursuing music after all these years. He was proud to see that I took my education just as serious as my career choice. He always said that I was his best student. We first met at my H.S. Like most kids in H.S I was just going to school just to be going to school. I didn’t really have a sense back then what I wanted to do with my life. I went through my career changes early. I went from wanting to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (TMNT) to a fireman to a football player. Yes, I serious wanted to be a TMNT. My chest structure was the reason I didn’t pursue football and a fire incident changed my mind completely about being a fireman.
I did a little bit of songwriting and rappin in H.S but that was only to satisfy certain friends to gain popularity. There was a rumor around saying that there was an after school program starting. My friends and I didn’t do much after school so we decide why not join. Music Production was all they had to say to us. And that’s where Darryl Brown comes to play. I told Brown, he’s the reason I choose to chase after this music career. I did most of the setups and breakdowns for the sessions at the after school program. He told me that he knew I would take advantage of audio engineering because I was always the first to show up and the last to leave. Even when the program died out and was so popular as it was when it first started
These days you can still find Darryl Brown surrounded by three different keyboards a DAW station and ready to work. Adding more awards to his collection. He still plays for his church and whenever he needs me I am always ready to write more songs for him.

Life Skills
I think my life is based off of life skills. throughout my life I've been able to step up when pressure was building. Sacrifice a little to get a lot. stay determined and focus on primary goals as well as adapt to my environment.
there are things that i have and had to work on while going through these process to adult hood. i suffered with time managing skills, creating budgets and learning how to survive on my own. i was like a mommas boy/ grandmas boy. i didn't have to rely on much. when i woke up grandma hand things prepare for me. food, cloths, books etc. you name it it was done, not by me but by the women in my life. these were the days when i was leaving with my grandma. no one challenged me about my way of life. i was able to move at my own paste without having anyone push me and say things like i know you can do this if you put your mind to it. i mean i did well in school, i was a B average student. there was nothing no way had to say to me. the only problem, that i can only see now is that i had no life skills. i was so use to grandma and mommy being in the gap that i wasn't taking on the full pressure of life.
that all change when grandma passed. i had been taken care of for 21years of my life. so in order for me to develop life skills of my own. i moved out. it took me a while to develop my time management skills because i had no real schedule to work by. i was always late for work, didn't care to much about school anymore so of course i didn't go. i realized later when everything was crumbling; grades, work, etc that i need to live on and become the great man that my grandmother wanted.
there are a couple things that i still need to work on but i am much better at time management which was my biggest thing. i no longer need to sleep with an alarm clock. i still have it just in case. my grades are back on top like they should be and I'm more focus on my future and my goals.
I was just telling my manager how i am going to start investing more into myself. because i dish out so much money to services that i already know how to do. i figure i should just invest in myself. buy what i need and use my knowledge to make best creative work possible.
